John holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Houston Law Center, where he excelled in estate planning, post-mortem estate planning, corporate tax, partnership tax, and tax controversy courses. He also earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the same institution.
Before pursuing his LL.M. in Taxation, John worked as a litigation associate, defending liability claims in nationwide litigations. This experience in litigation advocacy helped him understand the long-term benefits of thorough planning, fueling his desire to assist clients in preparing for the future.
Outside of his legal career, John enjoys playing strategy board games, discovering brilliant movies, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
