by Erick Escamilla

Molly practices civil and commercial litigation and represents a broad range of clients including individuals, small and large businesses, and corporations.

She is equipped to handle litigation in numerous areas including contract disputes, labor and employment, construction, mechanic’s and materialmen’s liens, real estate, land title and boundary disputes, DTPA actions, trade secrets, and oil and gas. Molly takes the time to understand each of her client’s unique concerns and goals and diligently crafts effective legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.

Molly used her time in law school at the University of Houston Law Center to prepare for a career in litigation. She was selected to join UHLC’s interscholastic moot and mock trial teams and competed as a brief writer and oral advocate in several national competitions. She won several awards throughout law school, including top-ranked oral advocate at the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition, champion of the John Black Moot Court Competition, and most outstanding student in her Oil and Gas Law course.

After growing up in New York, Molly moved to Houston in 2020 to pursue her legal career. She graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University in 2019 and earned her juris doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center in 2023. During law school, in addition to competing with UHLC’s advocacy teams, Molly served on the executive boards of the Houston Journal of International Law and the UHLC Moot Court Team.

When Molly is not diligently representing her clients at Hirsch & Westheimer, she loves trying new restaurants around Houston, exploring local museums and art galleries, and traveling.
